These past few Sundays, I went LIVE on the Divinely Interrupted Facebook group and Instagram with my talkative, four boys and we read a story about Hudson the raccoon who went to serve the Turtle tribe far away. We’re also studying about various tribes from India, West Africa, and other parts of the world that don’t know Jesus.
Since we’ve finished the book of Hosea, and we all have several weeks to be at home, I thought we’d use this time to refocus on our families and friends.
I’m currently working at home (I’m in the tech and payments industry) and the boys are doing their studies with the help of me and my husband. So, for those of you who are adjusting to new routines and learning how to work remotely (and actually get work done)—while managing childcare and studies—I get you! Let’s choose to use this season—that can be a bit chaotic—to create memorable memories for the next generation.
I also have a ladies’ Sunday evening Bible study at 6:30 p.m. CT, and we’re going through Matthew! I warmly welcome you (virtually) into my home for a warm drink, a few laughs, and a casual time studying God’s Word verse-by-verse. He will dish up new truths for us as we choose to gather and listen. Here are the Zoom deets:
